PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

ON PROPOSED FY 2022-2023 BUDGET

AND MILLAGE RATE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the City of Caro Council Chambers, 317 South State Street, Caro, Michigan, the Council of the City of Caro will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed FY 2022-2023 budget for the City of Caro.

            A copy of the proposed FY 2022-2023 budget including the proposed property tax millage rate is available for public inspection on the City of Caro’s website at www.carocity.net and in the City Clerk’s office during normal business hours. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied is 16.1643 (same as 2021) to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.  Those persons wishing to comment on proposed FY 2022-2023 budget may appear at the Public Hearing, or if unable to attend may make written comments prior to the Public Hearing to the office of the City Clerk, Rita Papp, 317 South State Street, Caro, MI  48723 or send via email at rpapp@carocity.net. Written comments received prior to the meeting will be read and entered into the minutes of the Public Hearing.
