Wastewater Treatment

The City of Caro area Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is located at 724 Columbia St. Our staff includes one full time Superintendent and two full time operators. Our hours are 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday with someone on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. The responsibilities of the WWTP staff are to operate and maintain a 1.2 million gallon a day activated sludge plant, as well as 11 lift stations throughout Caro. We also maintain a free RV dump station at the plant.
