City to Host Ribbon Cutting, Open House for New Police Station at Caro Municipal Building

CARO, MI- The City of Caro announced today that it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently completed Police Department addition to the City of Caro Municipal Complex. The new Caro Police Department serves as a central location for the community to access both city services and law enforcement services all in one place.

“The new building provides a convenient location as well as a healthy and secure environment for our first responders,” said City Manager Matthew Lane. “The new location has more space for officers to work, new computers, new furniture and a fitness center for both our police and fire staff to stay fit for duty.”

The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Wednesday, August 18th from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the Caro Police Department. Residents are invited to stay for an open house. Light refreshments will be provided and Caro Police Department staff will provide a tour of the new facility.

The Police Department is now located at 317 S. Street in Caro.
