PUBLIC NOTICE
November 8, 2022, a city General Election will be held to elect (3) non-partisan council members (4-year term) and (1) non-partisan mayor (2-year term). Nominating petitions are due at city hall by 5:00 p.m. on July 26, 2022. Any registered voter, who has been a resident of the City of Caro for a period of one year and is interested in becoming a city council member and/or mayor, may pick up a petition at the City Clerk’s Office, 317 S. State St., Caro. Persons desiring to qualify as candidates for any elective office under the charter shall file a petition therefore with the clerk signed by no less than 15 registered electors of the city.
