The City of Caro Parks and Recreation Department offers and is
involved with a variety of programs, special events, and recreational
facilities that are designed to improve the quality of life for
residents of all ages. The 2005-2009 Caro Parks and Recreation Five Year
Plan has been established to ensure that existing and planned parks &
recreation facilities and programming meet the needs of our community.
Striving to maintain and implement the recreation standards of our
community is the Caro Parks & Recreation Committee and the parks and recreation staff.
The Caro Parks & Recreation staff is comprised of one part-time park
and recreation director, who is on staff year round; and four part-time
summer camp assistants, who are hired to develop and lead the summer
programs. Our staff is committed to providing and maintaining quality
